"The woman is the foundation on which nations are built. She is the heart of her nation. If that heart is weak, then the people are weak. If her heart is strong and her mind is clear, then the nation is strong and knows its purpose. The woman is the center of everything."

AS MY MOON, MY SUN BEGAN TO RISE
I BURNED THE GOLDEN HERB OF MY WONDROUS MOUNTAIN -
THE SIX-JOINTED JUNIPER -
FUMIGATING MYSELF.
And carefully refreshing myself with it's aroma,
I then mounted my steed and donned my cloak.

AND NOW I AM GALLOPING WITH MY SHOULDER BLADES,
NODDING MY HEAD WITH THE BIRD FEATHERS,
OPENING AND CLOSING THE ALL-SEEING EYES,
AND DROPPING MY HEAD IN A BOW.
And so I come to that which has a name,
And so I come to this that has become known ~ *

TAKE SOME TIME OUT - it's not hurting anyone.

A new report says that we waste three hours a day faffing around, doing
nothing in particular, pootling, dawdling, pottering, hanging about. The
survey was carried out by the Learning and Skills Council, who, not
surprisingly, argued we should instead use those three hours to Learn some
Skills.

I beg to differ. Faffing is good. It is an important part of life. Faffing is
when we disconnect from the matrix and idle for a while, lik... read more

Before being rather suddenly and "inappropriately" deported (deets concerning his handling on the Canadian side tba) back to the U.S. recently, Robin Long Peace Staker was a valued, active, contributing, articulate, intelligent community member of Nelson, B.C.

In short, as of a phone call to a Nelson based friend last night and today's latest, Robin's in good spirits and optimistic;

Even though Robin had the dire misfortune of being in 'the most lethal, modern and deployable heavy div... read more

THE TAZ AS A CONSCIOUS radical tactic will emerge under certain conditions:
. . . Also, "Why Linux" & "What 'Little Brother' means to You"!

1. Psychological liberation. That is, we must realize (make real) the moments and spaces in which freedom is not only possible but actual. We must know in what ways we are genuinely oppressed, and also in what ways we are self- repressed or ensnared in a fantasy in which ideas oppress us. WORK, for example, is a far more actual source of misery for... read more
