My Testimonials

April 1, 2006
Definitely my favorite drummer! He "discovered" me dancing and waitressing at Your Inner Vagabond last year at Pennsic. I've danced to his drumming on a few occasions and let me tell you, he makes my job very easy! Totally kick ass beats! Very friendly and a total sweetheart! Can't wait til next Pennsic now!

Amazing, amazing man. He's even more fascinating and beautiful on the inside than he is on the outside (and wow, is he beautiful on the outside!!). His presence is unmistakable. And even those not keen enough to notice it as he passes by will unquestionably hear it and feel it in the intensity of his drums. The music of his soul has captivated me, and I can't imagine life without him.

Outstanding, if under-appreciated Drummer, this shall change as all things do, Lots of fire under the surface, We shall be friends a long time..

Thoughts

And it's not always bad! For example, I went to schedule my two weeks with the Coast Guard, and realized that my planned trip to Israel, Egypt, and India were, without mercy, crushed. But, much like when the lava cools, green babies pop out reaching for the sun joyously. So do my plan B's, which in hindsight are amazing!
So here are my summer plans, thrown about, around an acceptable amount of work of course....
1: Staying home, and enjoying my wonderful girlfriend Sammie. At this exa... read more

This week, I really understood what it means to have a "kids holiday". I showed my nephew, who is almost 2, how a dreadel spins...it was like magic to him. Such fascination and joy reminds me to be greatful when the days seem to make me more cynical with each passing moment. Ahhh to be young again.
And so, this year, on the Festival of Lights,
Let us rekindle our souls,
our own candles.
Peace and love,

Pennsic Friends,
Five years now I’ve joined you in the fantasy world of Pennsic, where each of us get to summon our past lives, recreating ourselves in this light. I’ve enjoyed each year in different ways, at first with the wide eye confusion and bliss of a child, later with the calm smile of a War Veteran. So many good times we’ve shared, and even the bad ones blur, leaving the sharp memories of pleasure. This year though, I find myself elsewhere, namely Israel. Because of this, I wo... read more

A long day had passed us by. My traveling companions and I had long since passed the point of exhaustion, our weary feet traversing the dusty landscape of the Lower Galilee and the famous airy ruins of Tiberias, its views immediately transporting each of us to past lives forgotten long ago. Sitting in the packed bus, our dirty dingy forms covered in the fine dirt broken by endless seekers and travelers, it seemed certain that the promised late day swim would be broken, as those halls an... read more
