about me
One of my passions is photography. When I am able to capture a mood, a texture, an expression through the click of the camera, it gives me great fullfillment. We as humans have so many great stories to tell and we are all so different! I also enjoy taking self portraits, partially, as another way to look and examine myself, who I am in the present until...flash.., it's gone..while the next moment opens up, to take it's place, the future. Life can be such a mystery. So simple, yet so complicated.

NOTE: I kindly like to request if you copy my photos, please do not alter them in any way and for you to credit me, if you post them anywhere online. Thank you so much!

Toni Bentley/ The Surrender: An Erotic Memoir

“We tell lies when we are afraid... afraid of what we don't know, afraid of what others will think, afraid of what will be found out about us. But every time we tell a lie, the thing that we fear grows stronger.”

Migrations upon the page

Heide Hatry, if you have not heard of her, creates sculptures of women made out of fresh untreated pigskin. Perhaps not an exhibition to see if you are a Vegan, heh, heh... This exhibit contains photographs of those pieces...not for the squeamish. When I ventured over there this past weekend, I did not find it disgusting, nor shocking, but definitely disturbing and thought provoking...it made my heart go pumpity-pump, not in a lustful way, but in a wake from a slumber sort of way; a surrea... read more

Thank you so much everyone for your supportive comments. All is not as negative as my last post reflects. It does feel good to translate all that is going on, thoughts and feelings onto the page. I find it incredibly cathartic as I make my way through the process. Bare with me, as I may post more Blogs than usual.

This whole experience has been a wild ride of testing my sense of will, forcing me to motivate, to take action/control over my circumstances and not to lie victim, painting m... read more

Thursday, October 23rd, 6:30 pm.
I was walking home from work, thinking about plans for the weekend, when suddenly, I within a blur hear voices...
"Who is the president?" "How old are you?" I hear from a distance. I reply..and then I'm out again. The next thing I know...I'm staring up at fluorescent lights...people surround me pulling my clothing off. Within my woozy state, I realize that these people are nurses, and I had an accident. I was hit by a car while walking on the crosswalk... read more

"...here’s a shout-out to all those third graders at Gladys Wood Elementary School, you get extra credit for watching the debate...", wink (was it just me, or were there times that it seemed like she was flirting with the audience?)
