Okay....so, I had been having problems with leg strength and knee pain ever since my last knee surgery......it jusy kept getting worse and worse.....I even stopped fighting due to the pain involved afterward. nicotene minutes.
Swirling smoke
and drooping lids.
I take a sip,
breathe the steam
as my tongue scalds.
I glance at the clock,
3:35am.
Last cigarette in the pack,
I dazzle my eyes with the flame
as I light it.
Stinging smoke
brings tears,
as I pour yet another cup.
