Bowl Of Light

   Thu, January 10, 2008 - 4:49 PM
You
have a bowl of Light

Hold out your hands, feel this bowl.
How big is it? What is it made of? What does it look like?
What does it feel like there in your hands?
Feel the weight of the bowl in your hands.
See it.
Look inside it.

What do you see? Are there stones already there?
Are stones falling from your being into the bowl?

Let it happen.

What are these stones? Realize, that you may not even need to know the answer.
They are ready to release.

See the stream of life flowing before you.

Thank the stones, they have served you well, they have kept you safe, they have helped you grow and heal.
But you are no longer in need of these stones. You have found fabulous and glorious new ways to be safe, to heal, and to grow.

thank the stones for their Sacred service to you

And, when you are ready, turn your bowl upside down and watch the stones fall into the flow of the stream of life.

Look inside your bowl, see the glorious light!

Feel that glorious light filling your whole being.
Feel it armspans out from your body in your energy field.

Know, that you are healed.

amama ua noa
Thus it is freed, spoken to the universe.

I was taught this ceremony in the traditional way.
The above is my personal adaptation of it.

Use it often, use it in conjunction with other energetic modalities.
Feel free to make it your own.
It is, after all, your personal bowl of light.

Here is the original writings on this.

"Each child born has at birth, a Bowl of perfect Light. if he tends his Light it will grow in strength and he can do all things - swim with the shark, fly with the birds, know and understand all things. If, however, he becomes envious or jealous he drops a stone into his Bowl of Light and some of the light goes out. Light and the stone cannot hold the same space. If he continues to put stones in the Bowl of Light, the Light will go out and he will become a stone. ... If at any time, he tires of being a stone, all he needs to do is turn the bowl upside down and the stones will fall away and the Light will grow once more."
