Is it so bad, then, to be misunderstood? Pythagoras was misunderstood, and Socrates, and Jesus, and Luther, and Copernicus, and Galileo, and Newton, and every pure and wise spirit that ever took flesh. To be great is to be misunderstood. This peace is my meditation as I see that division Is illusion & unity creates community. There is energy between you & me, connecting us more than we can see! Even when we stand in the dark our light shines bright & gives our minds a spark! So open up to the new things you find, you'll realize your light if you give it enough time. Hi everyone!
I recently moved to Asheville and I have a 6 month old son. We need to find a pediatrician in the area, but I would like to find someone who is very accepting to natural medicine and attachment parenting. The pediatrician would only be for back up. My son has a rare skin condition, so someone who is open minded is ideal. Also, if there are any natural healers who see babies, I would be interested to hear about them too. Thanks! Peace & Love, Addie

This workshop below is perfect for all those 'seekers' of more truth, deeper wisdom, and a way to make a difference in these difficult times for our beloved planet. Be a part of the solution - actively participate in healing yourself, others and the planet. Please consider how this invitation feels and show up if you're meant to!
The Woven Field: An Experiential Initiation into the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition with Jason Blaesing The Prama Institute, Marshall, NC November 10th & 11th Join us in this 2-day initiation into the fundamental practices of the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition, the shamanic lineage stemming from the prophetic emergence of the millennial wisdom of Peru. As taught within the northern hemisphere, the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition is a syncretic blend of ancestral practices from the south-central Peruvian Andes and northern coast that incorporates time-honored ritual practices and understanding with a contemporary appreciation for the alchemical composition of Nature. Concentrating on the power of witnessing the sacred in Life and our abilities as heart-centered practitioners to be harnessing points for the forces of Creation, we cultivate the transformative potential of our ritual engagement with a vibrant natural world to nourish beneficent change both around and within us. As an Earth-honoring path oriented to service within the dramatic movements of our times, the strengths of lineage and evolutionary unfolding guide this journey of Re-Encounter with our human and planetary destiny. During this introductory apprenticeship we will focus on the cosmological foundations of these practices, their utility in our own lives, and the ceremonial anchors that provide the means for accessing these transformative forces. As apprentices, we are guided into the experiential initiations of this lineage through our individual relationships with the mesa, the core ceremonial altar that we learn to arrange and activate. In concluding this weekend, each person will have “awakened” their personal mesa and integrated the traditional methods of its healing use. The cost for this workshop, including meals, is $250. We will begin at 12:30 pm on Saturday, and conclude Sunday by 5:00 pm. On-site accommodations are available at an additional cost. A $50 deposit is due by November 2nd, as space is limited. For further information please contact Kathy at mesavision@earthlink.net or call 828-242-6881. ________________________________________________________ Healer and ceremonialist Jason Blaesing practices the living lineage of Peruvian curanderismo. For the past 12 years he has apprenticed with don Oscar Miro-Quesada, originator of the Pachakuti Mesa, and continues an intimate relationship with healers in the northern highlands and coast of Peru, where he spends a portion of the year. He holds the traditional sanction to open his “mesada” (visionary altar) in these traditions and carries the medicine of this path of service with loving dedication. He currently practices and teaches this work across the United States.
