This Is From Jean Carlos (Hey Kim....Here's A Letter...)

This is one of the many letters I get from the child I sponsor - from Children International. He sends many letters - at least one per month to tell me how he is doing and what they are doing for him. I am so proud of him!

It's worth it, really is!

The Child I Sponsor From Equador....

His name is Jean Carlos Pincay Sanchez, from Equador....such a cutie. I call him my "adopted" child...If anyone has ANY extra money - and NOT ASKING FOR MUCH - I only pay nearly 20$ per month for him so that he can have dental, health insurance, and the basic necessities a child needs to thrive....he is NOW in school, has received his immunizations, he eats now, and I send him a special amount as a gift every holiday and birthday. He is very appreciative, grateful, and very intelligent...If only every person in the country could sponsor just one child, there would be no more poverty - no more homeless or dying children, no more sorrowful parents....It means so much just to give - JUST A LITTLE! And I'm pretty poor myself, only receiving disability right now, but when you really think about it, we are not poor at ALL - Children International is a site on my de.li.ci.ous site that maybe others should check out.....even if its 5$ per month, it could change a child's life drastically - I mean, LIFE OR DEATH.

Did this in 2001 I think - or 2002.....CRAFT disease prevents me from recalling the exact times & other stuff....duh.
Anyway, LOL, there wasn't much room to make mistakes, and its not at all very detailed where the faces are concerned since BIC pens really don't allow for too much shading (I like to use pencils since they smear). I always, ALWAYS, use my hands to shade, and for the tiny details I use my tortillian stump...

But it's still okay.
