I did it all backwards. I was 5 going on 50; now I'm 25, and 15 in more ways than I care to name. I holed myself up and toiled to get to the top, but instead hit bottom. Only then---when I needed bailing out---did I open enough to let love in. Staying open is my greatest joy, and greatest challenge. I owe every success to those who care enough to kick me in the ass when I slide into oblivion.

To all who make life delicious, thanks for shining your light. You inspire me to unearth my own, buried beneath layers of fear and disillusion. I'm interested in radical honesty: the courage to see, speak (and hear) "what is," the humility to surrender, and the resilience to rise above.
