about me
I am a Social Worker by trade, but a Viking at heart. I regret not going to Pennsic years ago, if only so I could camp closer to the lake. I had so much fun at The War that it nearly defies metaphor. I am not very good at describing myself, so I won't. If you want to know, just ask.

With gas prices being what they are, I'd like to stay in Mercer, Crawford, or Butler counties, or Trumbull county in Ohio.

The "Period Police" swooped in to inform my ignorant and uninformed ass that potatoes and peppers are NOT period, and that "traditional recipes" depend on which "tradition" you follow and bl...

I had to do something today to cheer myself up, so I started planning the menu for next War (I just took over duties as camp chef). It actually improved my mood quite a bit to think about going back to Pennsic, and it will give me the chance to try making corn bread in a dutch oven.

I am back from my doom-and-gloom mood, so don't send for the straight jacket just yet.

After all, it's the weekend, and being miserable on your day off means the terrorists win. P.S. The banana is for D'ner :-)
