I have an MFA from Cal Arts (I do installation and video art) and I'm currently working on my second masters degree in library science.
I was a principal dancer in Perfumes of Araby and Desert Sin dance companies and original member of Subee Djinn (though had to leave them early on to finish school). I've recently come to terms with the fact that I HATE learning choreography because I can't seem to think and dance at the same time, I don't like being distanced from my audience by spotlights and big stages. I truly love dancing as a soloist right there on the floor with the crowd so I can see their faces and hopefully make them smile.
