Brain Storms - forecasts and reports

Millions of light flakes

Have you ever seen a lightning snowstorm? Late Friday night we had one here in Denver. I see a flash of light and wondered what the hell it was. Then I hear the rumbling of thunder. It was right on top of me. How that can be? It was way too cold here for a thunderstorm. I go to the window to look outside and the sky is illuminated. Snow lights up in a way that rain just can't. Millions of big flakes fluttering down lit up the space in front of me whenever the lightning flashed. Beautiful! Nature never ceases to amaze me :).
