I find myself constantly gazing into a two-sided empirical reality. And yet, while two-sided, i find myself caught between the two sides...between: a Bourgeois morality and a negating that doesn't bring about one's own sense of moral sensibility, a culture that welcomes its members by preaching to them the values of conformity and a counter-culture that shuns away potential members, an acamedic system that has forsaken both selfhood and comradery and a world outside of academy that has grown tired of deep reflection, the valueless hedonism of modern capitalism and the despairing asceticism of those who reject it.
