I adore Bastet, ever since she has come to teach at Virgo studio I have a renewed desire to dance, she is quite frankly one of the best dancers I have known, you must see this girl perform!

Okay, so I've been trying to decide for a while now if I should audition for the Superstars. There are a lot of pros and cons. On the upside, *if* I were to make it, I would have instant recognition. Though, isn't the status so much more when you've fought for it yourself? It's taken me years, but I'm finally starting to become a "name" in states I've not danced in, nor even been to. The insanity continues! I'm leaving at 8am tomorrow (Saturday) to drive from Albuquerque, NM to Syracuse, NY. I'm spending the next three weeks camping around between Syracuse and Albany while conducting my disseration fieldwork. 3 weeks of mapping and rock collecting--wha-hoo!! (Excited or nervous or tired....I'm not sure anymore) Don't feel bad if you try to get a hold of me and get nothing for a while. Nothing personal, I'm just in the boonies. See ya later!

Bastet is an awsome dancer! She is very expressive, powerful, and mysterious all at the same time! She teaches a great work shop. Her ability to explain,show, and teach the moves is great. Her excitement and enthusiasm makes the students want to work all that much harder!

Bastet, mistress of the fans and a beautiful dancer! Her joy and presence on stage is infectious. When she dances you can see her love of the art form in her technique and presence.

Bastet is SO much fun to be around. I think she could talk to anybody and they'd listen. She's ultra-intelligent and talented. Thank you so much, Bastet, for workshopping and playing with Nat and I. We love you and know you and those fans are gonna get shit done.. haha!
