Today marks the death of our lovely rat, Luna. She was a beautiful soul and she will definitely be missed. Up to the very end she was happy and loving. Unfortunately, she had some VERY large tumors that started to take over her body. Poor thing looked like she had a botched boob job! I hate that rats are so prone to tumors.

I guess this is another lesson in life. In learning to let go of attachment. Mourning and then moving on. Taking comfort in the fact that it is just her body that is gone and that the true essence of her will continue on. Energy is neither created, nor distroyed; it just changes form.

I'm so grateful for the time we got to spend with her...
