Raven! ...is the most down to earth dancer I know. I love her raw lusciousness and her fighting spirit! Her dancing is hypnotic, and alluring.. and sometimes reaaaaly creeepy! ;} ...She rocks!

Raven is one of the sweetest people I know. She is always willing to help out a friend and is there to lend advice or just listen when you need it most. She is a wonderful dancer and she has grown in her dance to unimaginable heights. There are few people that a have such beautiful hearts! Thanks for being such a great friend!

Beautiful, spiritual, with a great heart and mind. She is a talented dancer who is always striving to improve her skills, mind, and soul. One of the first people I opened up to and we are fast becoming friends. I wish her the best in whatever she does and hope her successes are many and often.

Yes, my real name is Raven! I love belly dance and the creative energy it brings me. I love my yoga practice as it keeps me grounded and aware. Very interested in current events and politics. I love a good natured debate as I always learn something new, especially about myself. I love to talk about spiritual matters as I am still on the path.
I started my journey through dance under the direction of Marliza Pons learning mainly Egyptian/Turkish Cabaret in 1996. I became fascinated with ATS in 1999 when I first saw Fat Chance Belly Dance perform. I have taken extensive workshops with Carolena Nerricio and in August, 2008 earned my General Skills Certification. In February 2009 I earned my Teacher Training 1 and 2 certification in ATS. Among many workshops in various tribal, folkloric and oriental styles, I have also taken numerous workshops with Ariellah, who has been a consistent source of inspiration for me. I have had training in Flamenco from Margo Torea, as well as Amira of Las Vegas. I am 1/3 of the award winning troupe Tabu and also a member of Raqaseen. With Tabu I can make use of my tribal training. As a member of Raqaseen, under the direction of Amira, I have an opportunity to use my cabaret and Flamenco training.
