I LOVE to watch movies which seep into my brain and challenge my preconceived notions of reality. I love when a movie can make me think - REALLY think about the possibilities. I love to be left with the puzzle and spend days piecing it together. Discussing it with others, hearing opinions and sharing thoughts on it. I love watching a movie which wraps me up in its story, like I'm on the journey too, and when it's finished I find myself speechless, searching for words to describe my feelings.

Friday night I watched "Donnie Darko" for the first time (thanks Inara and Dave!). Every morning since I have woken up with the song "Mad World" in my head. I still haven't quite figured this movie out yet (which is part of the fun) and I imagine I'll watch it again to examine the clues. This movie left me speechless for a little while and then questionning. We actually scanned back through the movie a bit in an attempt to make some sense of it all. It also left me with an eerie feeling that night. I LOVE it!
