A Cabinet of Greek Coins (blog entry)
BEHOLD portrayed in miniature, yet clear,
The changing seasons of Hellenic art;
Fair spring-time, when dim haunting visions start
Forth into life, and forms divine appear;
Full, radiant summer, when a heaven-born skill
Achieves such height ... read more

On The Way Home (blog entry) *On The Way Home*

When the dream came
I held my breath with my eyes closed.
I went insane
Like a smoke ring day when the wind blows.

Now I won't be back till later on
If I do come back at all.
But you know me, and I miss you now.

Greek History, brought to you in Living Color! A safe home in politics... (blog entry) *The Old School Tie*

Oh the bright young men in the tight-buttoned suits
The light beams out from capped smiles to the shines on their lick-spittle boots
Oh these sharp young sparks with their fresh rosettes

The changing seasons of Hellenic art;
Fair spring-time, when dim haunting visions start

Dear autumn of decay, wherein remain
Mere phantoms which a glimmering twilight fill.
Here too the Olympic pantheon displays
Pure, grand ideals of each dreaded god,
Or cherished goddess, or loved nymph enshrined.

When the dream came
I held my breath with my eyes closed.
I went insane
Like a smoke ring day when the wind blows.

Now I won't be back till later on
If I do come back at all.
But you know me, and I miss you now.

In a strange game
I saw myself as you knew me.
When the change came
And you had a chance to see through me.

Though the other side is just the same
You can tell my dream is real.
Because I love you, can you see me now?

Though we rush ahead to ... read more

*The Old School Tie*

Oh the bright young men in the tight-buttoned suits
The light beams out from capped smiles to the shines on their lick-spittle boots
Oh these sharp young sparks with their fresh rosettes
Yeh, the artful ways that they promise the earth to all suffragettes -
What they won't promise we don't know yet.

They say they're building and shaping society
But we know they're just saving for their own
Safe home in politics
Anything goes: look at them run.
