My Blog

Our new roommate described me to a friend as what Irma Vep would be if she became a soccer mom. Maybe it's my heavy-on-the-black wardrobe and the fact I'm a half-nip (Maggie Cheung plays Irma Vep in the homage to the role) as well as the fact I do about 90% of the childcare, but it's still slightly perverse. I think the new roommate is a keeper.

But here's a somewhat more off-putting way of saying it:

Dang it! Who wrote that?

Sometimes I wonder how the *bleep* they target-market to me. I just got an advert for a lay-away-plan for dance poles. Go figure. When I added my friend, Armadillo, I got an advert for an armadillo (and other vermin) extermination service. As if! Very strange. Maybe the particular groups to which I belong are tagged for a kinky consumption cluster. Dang, if "they" only knew. The prioritized packing list for burning man ranks diaper wipes way before the corset and riding crop.
