Zweena lit a fire in my life that had been burned out for quite a while. She helped me to find myself again- the creative, determined, and passionate woman who had been in hiding.
I am overcome with:
~Emotion when I watch her dance.
~Tears when I watch old performances of you with Taleeba.
~Joy when I see her smile.
~Exhilaration when I see her wheels turning about a new piece or costume idea.
~Pride when I hear others compliment her-because she was my instructor.
~Love...all of the time.

I have been thinking a lot about you this holiday season. I miss you dearly.

Oh Zweena!

To see Zweena dance is like nothing else on this earth! She captivates audiences with her passion, and puts them at ease with her smile.

As a teacher, she helped breathe life back into the belly dance community, and now we build on the base she gave us. As a mother, she offers kindness, not only to her own child, but to all whom she crosses paths....

You are the woman who .....
..... gave me the tools to pave my own road
.....helped me find the strength within myself to follow my dreams
......who offered up friendship when I was alone
......taught me grace and power without using words

I am very fortunate and blessed to have had the opportunity to have Zweena as my teacher, mentor and friend.
