Marginal Notes by Jay Thiemeyer

The Habit of Rainy Nights Press has just published a chapbook by Jay Thiemeyer, entitled Marginal Notes.

Jay, who was homeless for over 20 years, recounts his experiences on the street in Portland. The book is for sale at Reading Frenzy, in downtown Portland, and at Black Rose Books in North Portland. You can also get it online at rainynightspress.org/

“Illustrated with Jill Wilson’s gritty black and white photographs of the world of Portland’s homeless, Marginal Notes is an essential addition to the chronicle of this city. Jay Thiemeyer has made a journey few people can even imagine."
—Barbara LaMorticella, Portland poet and co-host of KBOO’s “Talking Earth.”
