I hate these sections where I either write something absolutely inspirational or sound like a dumbass! I guess I'll give it a go and let you decide (please be nice)...

Im 28, asian and I tend to ricochet off the walls due to my bounciness and positive outlook on life. I love to write poetry and short stories but whether any pieces will actually be published pieces is yet to be determined - I'm in 2 minds as to whether to keep it a private affair or a full blown relationship!

I love to dance, whether its in the privacy of my own bedroom or at a Hafla. I have now been dancing for 3 years and cannot get enough of the dance, the culture and the supportive networks we tend to build. I have recently developed an interest in photography an love dabbling in alternative therapies (recently qualified in Indian Head Massage) and henna painting. At college, my best friend was a willing guinea pig for my henna applying practices and used to say that my mistakes were always wonderful - she was biaised! Although I have been a henna artist for 10 years I have only recently started to henna paint for local festival's, hafla's and parties and a percentage of what I make via bellydance gigs goes towards the Just Because Charity - please visit: www.justbecause.org.uk

Oooh... My party trick is that I can do a proper whistle using my mouth without actually using a whistle! And I always say that when I hit my 90's, I'll be an eccentric lil old lady with hair upto her knees living in a big mansion on top of a hill with a dozen cats, half a dozen dogs and a lot of wisdom to share with anyone who takes a chance at knocking on my front door... Up until then I guess I'll have to settle with what is in my destiny...
