I had a boyfriend, unfortunately a charming alcoholic, that introduced me to e.e. cummings in the early 90's. I subsequently have used this poem in my last relationship and hope to find it useful again someday. Funny when you are in love that you never think you could feel differently, but life has a way of changing, sculpting our lives to where they need to go even if we are unwilling participants. All blessings hidden within and the ultimate goal of learning how to go with the flow. 6 1/2 mos out of 13 years, still counting until I can view it all as just another experience.
