In 07 i found many things to celebrate. My husband and soul mate celebrated our 23rd anniversary and i love him more and more with each passing year. I became a grandma! WOW, it seems like just yesterday my son Michael II was born and now Michael II has a Michael III. Our youngest son seems to be making his way and hopefully is on the right path. I have a huge list of things to be thankful for. I am grateful to have two healthy sons and a healthy foster daughter. I am blessed to have a new born grandson who is precious. But i am most thankful for my husband, Michael, who is supportive of me and who i am. He is loving, caring and kind. I could not have found a better man :) This will be our 24th Thanksgiving together and i hope for many more.

Today My husband and I did the race for the cure. It was very special to do it with Michael because he was such a strong and supportive husband while i was going through so much health related crap. He gave me strength and he dealt with my sometimes crappy moods.

This year is my TEN year survival race and i finished in the top ten of the survivors with a time of 27:14. It was a very special day for me :)
Michael was born shortly before 2pm (Oklahoma time....just before noon here). He is 5 1/2 pounds and all indications show that he is healthy although 5 weeks early. I should have a picture to post tonight.

Today Michael's baby's mom had to be induced for health reasons. The baby is fully developed although he will be five weeks early and so he should be just fine. Michael is a nervous daddy to be and is sitting at the hospital (although it could still be a couple of days) awaiting the birth of his son.
