I miss you, gurl!

It was pure chance that I met Heidi, I was in AZ checking out the dance scene before committing to relocating from Scotland. I had to check out the dance scene to see if moving would be worthwhile! Anyways I went to this local event and saw some amazing costumes, which Heidi had made. One glimpse was all it took. I was in love. That was it really, the outfits made me move my entire family to AZ! Once we relocated I hunted the seamstress down and came to class, and was hooked. Not only did Heidi encourage her students but she continues to encourange those who meet her. Heidi you are one in a million and such a inspiration. However if you were to ask me about her chocolate and 'digestive' habbits, watch out she can eat you under the table!

Heidi is absolutely the best. I was actually inspired by Heidi to begin belly dancing when I saw her at the AZ Ren Fair when I was Thirteen! I did begin taking lessons and here I am beginning my tribal journey. I thought ..WOW..I want to be like her (with her beautiful red poofy hair) hehe...She has brought belly dancing so far in the valley. Truly an inspiration and still beautiful!

I consider Heidi to be a wearer of many hats. She is, in my opinion, the facilitator of tribal here in AZ. She was my first tribal teacher, my first "gypsy" friend, and my mentor for some time. I have learned so much from Heidi that I can only consider myself lucky. She shares so much of herself. Heidi is a teacher, a mother, an entrep (however you spell that), and moreover, a friend to so many.
She has definitely left an imprint on this world!

I feel blessed to know Heidi. She is not only beautiful inside and out, but she seems to derive such great joy from sharing beauty with others. Whether it is teaching, performing, or just hanging out, you feel priviledged to be around her because she has an aura of friendship and open kindness that is rare. Yep. Lucky lucky lucky. :)
