After watching her perform live I was blown away and knew she was one of my new belly idols! After taking a workshop from her I was addicted to not only her style of dance but her way of teaching. I have been fortunate enough to take a private lesson from her and would highly recommend it to any dancer! Mira gives all of herself to her art, as a dancer, costume designer, and jewelry maker. And she gives all of herself as a teacher. She took time to prepare a lesson tailored specifically to me. She watched videos of me and gave me feedback with a pleasant attitude and showed me what we were going to work on. My time with her was fun, supportive, and now I'm an even bigger addict! I have Mira Mania!

Mira is not only an incredible performer but an incredible instructor. Her style is elegant, graceful and stunning! One of the best performers I have seen out there! What I love about her as a teacher is that she is challenging but also encouraging. With a solid foundation of technique and then on top of that a completely unique style she is one of my favorite! She is undefinable and indescribable!

Mira, you are such an inspiration! I am so caught up in you when you dance ... I'd love to move like you, but know it will never happen. There is only one woman in the world who can be Mira ... move like Mira ... laugh like Mira ... and I think she is AWESOME!!

Well I just have to say that Mira is truly amazing! I met her almost a year ago when she came to Bham to perform with Fringe....She was so humble, modest and sweet and since I had never seen her dance...I had no idea what to expect! She came out in this beautiful dress...that I thought was a cover up...but instead it was the dress that she'd wear while spinning for her Sufi piece...it was mesmirizing! Then goes for a costume change and comes back out in the great costume and does this unbelievable piece that left me and everyone else speechless!

Mira is Beautiful, smart, talented with a great sense of humor! She has truly made a huge impact on my dance, my practice, drills, my focus and direction....everything! Thank you so much for being such an inspiration! I'm very happy to call you a friend and mentor!
