about me
I guess I'm the introverted extrovert. I feel my universe is kind of small, but I have big dreams and aspirations within it. I tend to be very focused. People, things, ideas, etc which I care about, I care about with all I've got. The rest, I hardly notice.
I like to always have an 'open minded skeptisism' toward life and all of its dealings. I believe in the perfect harmony: However bad I feel at some point in my life, soon I'll feel equally good. However poor I am at some point, some day I'll be equally rich.

Re: all Sun conjunctions (in Aspects in Astrology) This doesn't apply to just the conjunction, but I think all aspects to the Sun will say something about our fathers/father figures, as the sun represents the masculine Father spirit.

Sun-Saturn conjunction: The father (Sun) might have been qui... read more

And I agree with the fact that sex is a serious thing, especially for heavy Scorpio-types. Most of us are not the types to flirt around. We need someone w... read more

Random Thoughts

Now don't think I'm lazy... But I truly believe that if one has to chase something, perhaps it wasn't meant for you.

We'll never have enough of touching
after waiting so long
to do
and to be
what we want to each other

See how close we lie, in the slow, naked warmth
of our first morning of waking together
while our hands and our lips lazily practice
the intimate secrets they learned
in last nights sudden and violent surrender

Even our toes
explore this strange country of total love
even our noses
the smell of your skin and your hair

I came to think about this expression today: "falling asleep". Because it's very common, while falling asleep, that we experience a physical sensation of actually falling. This happens to me all the time. I'm lying in my bed, eyes closed, I'm relaxed and I've just begun to dream - then I'll dream that I'm falling. It might be the wind that swept me over a cliff, or I trip in a staircase, or I'm losing my grip on a steep mountain side, etc. Either way I can actually feel that my body is in fre... read more

Don't get me wrong - I'm not trying to be cynical in any way. I hope I don't come across as such. But the question has been on my mind for quite some time now, and I truly wonder if it's real or just an illusion made to give us false hopes for the future? "Be a good girl, and a good man will find you." I believed that when I was a kid, but now I'm a grown woman, and the good man who found me is not the man I want... Sound familiar, anyone?

My own perception of relationships is a bit differ... read more

The Living Statues
spacer

Two statues stood in a city park: one female and the other male. These statues faced each other for many years.

Early one morning, an angel appeared before the statues and said, "Since the two of you have been exemplary statues and have brought enjoyment to many people, I am giving you your greatest wish. I hereby give you the gift of life. You have 30 minutes to do whatever you desire."

And with that command, the statues came to life. The two statues smiled at each other, ran toward some nearby woods and dove behind a couple of bushes. The angel smiled to himself as he listened to the two statues giggling, bushes rustling, and twigs snapping.

After fifteen minutes, the two statues emerged from the bushes, satisfied and smiling.

Puzzled, the angel looked at his watch and asked the statues, "You still have fifteen minutes. Would you like to continue?"

The male statue looked at the female and asked, "Do you want to do it again?"

Smiling, the female statue said, "Sure. But this time YOU hold the pigeon down and I'll crap on its head!"
