Coldern hell (blog entry) -15 F....hard ice and snow on my sidewalk....chipping away until my hands are bruised and blistered....-15 F....did I mention that already?....busted water pipes in the workshop....Winter has finally arrived.

Blog entry #1 (blog entry) I called into work today, to spend time with my babies and rake leaves. They are napping and I'm not raking leaves...I'm blogging. I think I'll take my coffee outside...it's beautiful for Nov. 22nd.

The Horseshoe ( local favorites » bars / clubs / cafes ) "Damn good BBQ and live music joint" This place hosts top quality independent bands, of all stripes, but mainly Americana (whatever that is!) They have killer BBQ and equally killer VEGETARIAN BBQ!! Please support this fine independant restaraunt/bar.

Was thinking last night about self sufficiency...we have land, we can make a lot of our own food and work less. Just think how our society would change if even half the folks out htere grew 75% of thier own food. It would be a massive chain reaction over time.
