I'm producing this hands on, everyone's invited, performance/art event this Thursday at Beast House- if you're not rehearsing something you should come play with us! Here's the details:

You're invited to ARTsplash, a painting event where art meets perfomance and no brushes are allowed. Dress to get messy and prepare to paint. There will be 45 canvases arranged on a wall and buckets and cups for tempera paint. Memo, our featured artist, will get things started, but everyone who attends will have a hand (literally) in collaboratively painting both the canvases and our two live models, the beautiful Brittany and the giant (nearly 7 foot tall) Matt. Hands, feet, hair, found objects...this is body painting in both senses of the word, with body as canvas and as implement.

To keep things fun and fueled there will be free food, free booze (first two drinks are free, after that $1 each) and the pulsing beats of DJ Kenoy to keep us all in the right frame of mind.

At the end of the event, 40 artist participants will get to take home a piece of the collaboratively generated art.
