My principal is an idiot with rose-colored glasses and a meglo-maniac complex. She steadfastly maintains that Hoover Middle School is fine, and the teachers are doing a wonderful job, and that yes, indeed, our AYP (adequate yearly progress) and our AIP (academic Index performance) will go sky high this year.
