OH MY GOD, I met Valizan on a workshop last weekend in Toronto, and really liked his energy and personality. I have never met anyone until then that asks more questions than me in a workshop :)

although I have never met valizan in person, over the last year he has proven to be a very dear friend, offering wise counsel to one wrapped in chaos such as me. V you have loved me despite my gypsy stories of lust and adventure and I thank you for always being there...if there is ever anything you need, anything I can do for you, I will be there. you have my loyalty as a friend and my word as a true gypsy...

I first met Valizan as an indirect result of a practical joke I played on his entire SCA kingdom (long story) and found him warm, witty, and a worthy adversary in Schtick.
We don't see each other or get to dance together often, but there's always a place for him by my fire.
