about me
A friend introduced me to belly dance in the fall of 2006 and I've been absolutely hooked ever since. :) My teacher, Aegela (www.aegela.com), is Egyptian Cabaret style, though I'm also a huge fan of ATS and tribal fusion.
Some of my other passions are kundalini yoga, photography (primarily event, portraiture, and character/costuming), and making costumes. Actually, there's a whole ton of creative-y type things I love doing. ^^ I am also the moderator of GLOW Raqs! a tribe for GLBT belly dancers and friends. I looked on Amazon.com and apparently, a region 2 DVD is available. I may just go ahead and buy that. I've been wanting to get a region-free dvd player.

I am fully in favor of constructive criticism. If a teacher wasn't willing to correct me when I was doing something incorrectly, I think I'd stop taking from that teacher because it's wasting my money if she's not helping me improve.
