Is this addiction? I can't stop listening....a fever seems to come over me as more & more sounds penetrate my being
they evoke feelings, colors, memories
I am consumed by the sensations in my body that are
stirred and I groan, whimper, gasp softly
I listen more intently, hear the soft patterings of layers of drums followed by celestial voices...nothing else matters now

Anger pours into my body like a searing pain...I am engulfed by it.
I try to negotiate, saying "no, no, you're spoiling my fun!, I just wanna have some fun!" it says nothing, perfect silence, only the sensation. Why so unrelenting, so much feeling? How can so much feeling be within one person? Do others feel this intensity?
