SMOKIFANTASTIC AKA BOBBI WILLIAMS

is an interdisciplinary performance artist, educator and visionary. Williams holds a Master in Fine Arts in Playwriting and acting from Carnegie Mellon University and Moscow Art Theater School. Williams has received a BFA in directing from Point Park College. Bobbi has attended The National Theater Institute and The Academy of Natural Healing. Ms. Williams is a Reiki Master. (Reiki is an energetic body balancing healing method from Japan).2007 Williams directed Le jazz Hot (The Life of Josephine Baker ) at The Apollo Theater. 2006 Le Jazz Hot had an exciting national tour. 2007 (The Art of Love and Struggle ) a film Williams starred and co wrote recieved a nomination for best doc. in the H20 International Hip Hop film festival.
Williams is the creative director for The Green Circus New York. (The Green Circus teaches renewable energy, for example; solar, wind and bio mass energy.) The Green Circus had the Honor of performing at The United Nations in Feb 2005 for The Ghandi King Peace Conference. In 2004 Bobbi toured her solo Performance Art piece (Phantastica) with the Drop Beats Not Bombs Tour hosted by Movement in Motion Artist Collective and The Fellowship of Reconciliation. Williams is a true Renaissance woman. Bobbi has collaborated with The American Studio Theater, Vaudeville Utopia, and The Fun Club Burlesque. Williams has directed at the Joe Papp Public Theater and has helped to curate NYC underground film festivals (Viva Verde at the Warsaw, Micro Mini Film Festival.) Ms. Williams is a videographer and painter. Bobbi teaches Renewable Energy, Yoga, Dance, Acting, Myth Making and Reiki. Williams has taught at : The New School,Spellman Unv, Wellslan Unv. Point Park Collge,Tribe,Chashama,Ohio Unv.,Henry Street Settlement, Academy of Natural Healing
