Terraformation is an experimental event in spontaneous energy healing.
Throughout the evening we will explore the
sequence of the Elements Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether in an
organic unfolding display of living art.
Terraformation is a fundraiser for the Terrasante Community and the
Harmony and Health Foundation, both of which are located on the land
of the event. Suggested donation is $10-$20.

Event begins at 5pm with the traditional starting of a fire and a sunset drum circle.
Amplified music and live video art begin at 8pm and will go well into
the night.
Camping optional.

Bring:

* Hand Drums and all other Acoustic Instruments
* Anything that may inspire healing energy experience
* Warm Clothing and closed toe walking (or dancing!) shoes. There will be a fire and also propane heaters on site, but it is generally a few degrees colder in the desert than in the city
* Flashlight (we are approaching New Moon, so it will be dark!)
* Tent and sleeping bag if camping
* Art work to display and materials to promote local organization or companies
* Open Minds!

What else will be in this space:

* There will be food available, Potluck style. Bring a yummy dish if
you wish!
* There will be two workshops in the early evening. The first will discuss the quantum energetic self, and
second will focus on necessary components for creating sustainable
communities.
* Fine electronic music and live video projections provided by
seasoned local artists and DJs to assist in our navigation through the
Elements.

* Enclosed spaces with relaxing atmosphere and massage.
* Free high quality ground water available for drinking. Bring a
container to fill up. There will also be containers available by
donation.
* Free glowsticks and bracelets
* Washroom facilities on site

Head East on I-10 (or via Frontage road). Exit to I-19 South. Take the First exit on I-19 to
Ajo Highway. At the exit, turn right onto Ajo and drive 16.5 miles
west. Turn right just after mile marker 155 onto Hermans Rd. Bear
left, drive .2 miles, turn right, go about 1 mile further and you will
see a sign on the left.

My current statement to the world

I don't know what the world is coming to, but I know we're going there together. So lets keep it together, brothers and sisters. Community, oh that word, so powerful, the backbone of continuity, our common thread. If there is ever a time for a reworking of the signal flow on all levels of our connected energy, this is it, coming up, and I'm not talking about 'in a few years'. I'm talking about in a few weeks. Large unveiling occurring soon, and I am very excited for everyone who is ready.

The current conglomeration of systems is clearly not taking into account all of itself. There is growing distrust in what is defined only by trust, i.e. our financial system, and there are a lot of people holding onto it as it is teetering. Trust me, distrust is not a good thing to be holding onto. I say let go. There is already too much stuff in existence. The materials economy, a system that is dependent on constantly increasing production and consumption is hitting the wall of finite resources and destroying the environment in the process. At this point what we need to do is allocate the materials we already have and learn how to grow on the local scale as needed.

I'm saying outright that there is a natural order ever present in the history of our Earth and the entire Universe for that matter, a very old tradition that has kept us alive ever since the inception of life on Earth billions of years ago. We have collectively lost sight of it in this generation, but we all have the fundamental ability to see this natural order, return to the source, and resubscribe to the beauty of the harmonic cycles. We don't need any leaders to tell us how to operate or what to think. All of this information is already encoded in our DNA. Once we all open our DNA's systemic memory, the concepts of fundamental disagreement will cease to exist as we all flow with the grain of the fabric. I'm not saying we will experience the end of conflict, energy is all about being positive and negative, attracting and repelling, and it's all in good fun. I'm talking about this game of tug-of-war within ourselves that is dividing us and disrespecting our Mother Earth. She is already in the process of purging her toxic burden, and we need to do what we can to calm her down and re-thread the ties.

(deep breath)

I honestly don't think money is needed anymore. I would have disagreed as recently as a year ago, but now I see how we can operate in moneyless system, and it is beautiful, even if a bit tumultuous during the transition. A moneyless system will integrate our most modern methods of community networking and utilize dynamic local resource allocation to mobilize our common effort to sustain community during fluctuations in community needs and available resources. Most (and eventually all or nearly all) organization will become locally oriented and decentralized, and the community will provide most (and eventually all or nearly all) products and services that are currently provided by profit-driven centralized corporate entities. This is all a gradual process. Most people for a time will still be using centralized electricity, centralized information service providers, centralized water etc., but during the transition, as much as I disagree with the government and have a Leary eye on their intentions, I agree we may be on the right track with Socializing these centralized entities as the money dries up. The Government's role will ultimately decline during this process of decentralization, and the people's responsibility and ability to self-organize, self-educate and self-mediate will increase. And we can totally do it, but we need to be conscious activists to co-create this reality. If a community sees an idea as valuable, the community will ensure that the idea is propagated.

I want to be a part of this system I am imagining more than I ever wanted to be a part of anything driven by money. The infrastructure is in place, information is already free or on it's way to being so. Truth is becoming harder to hide. Many of the institutions in existence right now can easily be re-purposed to actually make the world a better place. You may be a pessimist and think it is unrealistic for a community to provide itself with everything it needs to be sustainable. This can be true at the moment, but as we ween ourselves off the current economy, that will shift. Right now, there are countless jobs in existence that are useless by-products of what I refer to as 'interference patterns in the signal flow', more simply known as middle men or markets that have been created out of perceived necessity, not out of actual necessity. Once those jobs are eliminated and the people are freed to take part in the community, they will be eager to fill in any holes in the functioning of the community so that they can feel that sense of self-worth that is so basic and human. That sense of self-worth is being squashed in this current system as millions of people around the world sit in unnatural office environments or slave away in hard labor all day doing things that have no visceral sense of value for the world. A community oriented system, whether or not it involves currency, would greatly help our collective sense of self-worth.

Thinking things through, it can be a sticky situation when considering large scale or highly specialized trade without an intermediate form of transferable value. However, I'm convinced it is possible, and it is the only way to prevent our value system from being manipulated and corrupted out of balance.

I fully admit it will be a massive shift. Some areas of the world may destroy themselves. Whoops. If it happens, shit, I don't know what to say, but I really don't think it could be any worse than the situation we have in the world right now. I'm betting on our greater collective intuitive good will towards life to keep everything in checks and balances. Ultimately everyone will be offered Universally: information, electricity, water, and sustenance. There are technologies to be unveiled (soon I believe) that will make this a practical reality and give everyone these basic human needs so that we can focus on more important things, like celebrating Universal Love in states of ecstatic bliss. As we realize the source of love, we will open our hearts and alter our actions. As we open-source information we will collectively advance technologies. Gone will be the days of patent infringement, another ugly byproduct of Capitalism. If someone finds a way to harness energy more easily or efficiently, why in hell would they want to keep that from the rest of humanity?

I don't have any ultimate definite answer to anything, I'm just another 26 year old who feels unsatisfied with and alienated by the way business is done around here. I do sense a necessary shift ahead. The ripples in the pond, they go forwards and backwards. These ripplesentations, like a still pond, I'm still pondering these ripple zen stations.

As I was saying about the messages encoded in our DNA, let's start moving in the general direction of these messages. As we travel closer to the answers, the answers will come into focus. I'll tell you right now, the short answer is love. For the long answer, stay tuned in.

And yeah, I want to stress that I really have no idea what I'm talking about, this is just my intuitive reaction to everything I've experienced in the world up to this point.

The past three months have been the most radical of my life, so much of everything swirling around in a great stew, but this time also embodies a return to simplicity in moment. I’m currently living at an alternative living community outside of town, and I love it. That may change once the temps start to break 100 degrees, but it also may not, there is after all air conditioning in addition to the rest of modern amenities. This phase of my life could not have come at a better time. Things were starting to feel a little too out of control in town, and I was afraid it was going to tear me apart. Indeed, after being out here, I feel like this phase is critical for my future health and survival. My job is primarily to tend to the garden and irrigation system. Other projects include building electric cars with junk yard parts, building LED lightbulbs, culturing kombucha drinks, and sustainable diet 101 including sprouting, fermenting, solar cooking, planting, and growing. This is all on top of my personal creative projects and enjoying the company of the community. Every day I am out here feels like organic growth that I will have with me for the rest of my life. There are many critical things here that are missing from the modern lifestyle. Those missing components were digging ruts and imbalances in my health, physically and mentally. Oh, and yeah, we need more people out here. We have the resources, so we could definitely use more helping hands and positive energy.
