Let me make no small bones about this. Sammy is the Man of his Age.

When someone mentions people from the 60's an image jumps to mind of an idealized archetypal man or woman from that period and most of us have about the same image in our heads. Same goes for the 20's or the 80's or pretty much any era in recent history.

In a few decades when people talk about OUR age and the people who defined a generation they will bring Sammy to mind. He is the walking embodiment of what makes our era, or rebellion, or discovery, great. He lives it, breathes it and loves it every day. Sammy is the cutting edge of our generation of discovery, joy and love.

Damn good for a laugh, and damn good-lookin' too! It's rare that anyone can make me crack up so much!
