Some sweet changes for SIS.....

Hello all. We have a few changes in the works here and wanted to fill you in. Many of you may already know this info., so please bare with us. John, Tammi (Yasmine) and A.J. are moving as of Aug. 1st to Magalia, CA. This location is only 2.5 hours from the Bay Area, so not too far. John has left Autodesk, Inc. and will be finding work in the area we are moving. A.J. will start preschool in a neighboring town in August. Tammi/Yasmine will continue to perform, teach and run half of Sirens In Sanity from their new home in Magalia. The personal address and business office address for Sirens In Sanity are below. Tammi will be in the Bay Area regularly to continue the growth of SIS with her partner, Chari and SISters. SIS will not change in anyway accept adding and growing a new area and continue the gift we give in Benicia, the Bay Area and beyond. We know have a large group of teachers and apprentice teachers in SIS, so we are all working to make this happen. There will now be two facets of SIS to spread the belly dance joy. Please let me know if you have any questions. Here is a postcard we are sending out…just in case you have not received it. As of Aug. 1, We are moving! I am 12....

Hello all and hope you are having a terrific day. Today, when I was in the middle of taking my pilates class at From the Core in Benicia, I realized I had been taking pilates for a year now, but more importantly, this is also my 12 year anniversary month in belly dancing. I started taking belly dance lessons with Loa Kirkbride through the Benicia Parks & Rec. in Jan. 1996. WOW, I am 12 years old in the belly dance world. THAT IS SO COOL!!!! For all of you who know me or who dance, you know that dance takes over your life, your heart and your soul quickly and my life has been completely emerged in the dance for 12 years now. YEAH!~!~!~! I finished my pilates class and went to have a manicure and pedicure as a gift to myself. I am looking forward to my class tonight where we will dance until our hearts are content and dance our butts off. WOOHOO!!! It is Saiedeh's b-day!!

Me and all the Sirens are celebrating Saiedeh's birthday today. It's a wonderful thing to celebrate my teacher, my business partner, and my best friends special day. Tell the world to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAIEDEH!!! Much love and appreciation.

What a fun few months we have had.....

This blog is all about having fun with friends and family; both dance and blood. Last month was full of performances at India 4 U Restaurant, El Morocco Restaurant, Rakassah, a photo shoot with Michael Baxter, and a fun trip to the BD Superstars in San Rafael. Performing wih my SISters (Sirens In Sanity Sisters) was awesome at Rakassah. We have such a great group of ladies who are dear friends on the stage, in the studio and in our personal lives. We are quite blessed for that. My family has also been busy with birthday parties, St. Pattie's party, IMAX movie night to see 300, and even a date night with my honey, while our son hung out with Grandma & Grandpa. WOW, what a diverse life we live. ISN'T IT GREAT!!!! :) :) :)
