about me
I have been studying Middle Eastern Dance since 1994, and performing since 1998. I am a member of Harem Dancers, a trio of dancers which perform regularly at all kinds of private and public functions, including weddings, birthdays, corporate events and festivals. We've danced at several events together and have all been studying together the same amount of time. I have studied and performed for several years with Ninawa: Eastern Magic a group headed by two male dancers (Moh Al Ratta and Moh Abu Ras) formerly of Caracalla of Lebanon.
My most recent ventures include living in Egypt for 4 months, studying dance and Arabic, as well as travellig to Syria and Jordan. I am currently designing costumes for middle eastern dancers of all styles.

It's just hard to keep up with everything these days! Emails, facebook, tribe, and for those who are also on Bhuz, Twitter, MySpace... there's way too much distraction. For myself, I have to hide my computer so I can get any work done ;)
