As you can tell, I only get on here about every 3 or 4 months, if that. It is a purposeful need to distance myself from the inevitable drama of too many people with too much time in front of a computer. A collegue of mine is looking for a home for her pup Flora. She is an English Boxer mix. Leslie simply cannot afford to keep her due to employment issues and it is breaking her heart to have to let her go.

It's been a while. But then again, I am not much of a talker in most cases. If you call me, I am fine but I don't usually want to disturb your peace by sticking my nose in.

So my big thang right now is getting my studio up and running. As usual, running into big delays that push opening back by weeks at a time. We lost Lucky, our 22 yeard old alpha-female cat to cancer. The tumor was on her brainstem and inoperable, especially on a 22 year old. She was in so much pain near the end that we decided to end her suffering instead of torturing her by letting her go "naturally". This was a couple of weeks ago and the colony is still unsure what the pecking order is. Both old alphas gone within 6 weeks.
