8 things about me

1) I live to enjoy my time here on this crazy hunk of rock. My number 2 priority in life, is to enjoy life (#1 is my son, Nathan). For me enjoyment comes in many different forms; from floating down the steeps in waist deep powder, enjoying music or simply the sounds of nature as the sun warms my face.

2) I love our planet. It amazes me in so many ways. I love rocks (I better I’m a Geologist and Engineer). Finding a wonderful crystal or mineral gift from the earth means a great deal to me. I love to roll in the dirt to feel even more connected. The flora and fauna are also amazing to me.

3) I love to dance, especially to live music. It boggles my mind how people can stand still during a raging throw down from their favorite band. OH MY god I gotta move my feet.

4) Skiing!!! Skiing is a huge passion of mine. Winter is my favorite time of year. Heck, look at my name. I love the quiet still air of a brisk winter morning as the dawn breaks over the snowy landscape. I’m getting goose bumps just thinking about it. I even love to camp on the snow, finding a partner crazy enough to join me is the worst part about it. I’m on a mission this year to ski in every colander month. So far I’m right on track, I haven’t missed a day since I started last season in October.

5) I love to travel. On the road, on the rail, in the air or on the sea. I just wanna see everything. My parents used to drag us everywhere in our pinto station wagon on a shoestring budget. This has definitely rubbed off on my and I gotta see the world.

6) I love to make people smile, it makes me happy! Sometimes I’m witty, sometimes I just a dork, whatever it takes.

7) I’m an incurable optimist. I have permanent rosy glasses on. It takes a lot to get me down.

8) I love freaks and dorks!
