I first met Hassan online in a male dancer's forum many, many, MANY years ago, and even then he was level-headed and ridiculously cool.
We somewhat bonded upon discovering that the same male dancer (Francisco Carranza) had inspired us to bellydance and influenced our styles.
Many years later, I was fortunate enough to meet the man himself, and lemme tell ya, Hassan is the perfect mix of coolness, manners, Man-ness (is that a word? I don't care... I say it is!) chivalry and humour with just a vague touch of menace that only adds to his charm. :))))
I consider myself lucky to have met an online bud who understands what it means to be a male dancer. Hassan dances like a carefully engineered car that is well cared for by its owner (come to think of it... he is well-cared for too!) . He is slick, suave, smart in movement and there is no mistaking this is a MAN dancing. Go watch, you won't be disappointed.
And ignore any comments Hassan makes about being old... The man is younger in spirit and energy than many of the young twerps wandering about gazing into their navels and toying with their emo hair.
