The wind is having his way with us in the southwest....swirling, driving hard, constant, crazymaking. I was glad to be working inside the greenhouse picking abundant peas this morning. Sang songs to the glory of pretty green snowpeas and her white blossoms. I believe we had 60 pounds at the final weigh-in. Spring mix, spinach, and chard are tomorrows pickins.
Was saddened to hear of the death of Macho B last month, the jaguar killed by Game & Fish. Now his former territory in Hell's Gate and surrounds has burned in the first big fire of the season. Seems fitting somehow....
More and more people seem to be "getting it" now in this time of the Awakening. We are the ones we've been waiting for. Get out there and find your allies; plant gardens, create local trading banks, build local small businesses, form schools, guilds, communes, networks.
