Wicked Tinkers (blog entry) One of my all time favorite bands. The Wicked Tinkers. Clean and simple. A bagpipe player. A didjeridu player. Two drummers. And LOTS of energy. I go to see them every chance I get. And they were at the Highland Games in Vista last weekend. Kat ha... read more

Finally caught up with Brittany Hughes. (blog entry) Last year I was called by a film production company in San Diego, to see if I could bring a giant rocking horse to a shoot. Who else would you call for such a request? After setting it all up, the gentleman on the phone stuttered through asking me... read more

Well, I've moved back north for a while, (blog entry) Only as far as Bakersfield, but it's a step in the right direction, anyway. Finally working again, operating an asphalt roller on a paving crew. But the company I'm working for, Tiechert Construction, is from farther north, so maybe I can g... read more

For all you Nader fans, (blog entry) Looks like he's going to try it again. For anyone thinking of voting for this socialist, please keep in mind the key role he played in pushing Cindy to take her own life. Yeah, he gets my vote, but only when we vote for people we'd most lik... read more

Ok, I'm at a crossroads here. (blog entry) And I want your opinions. Even if you don't have one, let me hear that. I have had reasonably short hair most of my life. And when I let it grow out a little, I didn't like it. Typical Scottish hair, frizzy, standing out in a curly mess. But ... read more

And they were at the Highland Games in Vista last weekend. Kat had never seen them before, and I promised her before she came out here that I would take her to see them. She loved it. She even had her cleavage signed by the entire group. (She has lots of room.)

I know, there's a couple extra drummers in ther... read more

Last year I was called by a film production company in San Diego, to see if I could bring a giant rocking horse to a shoot. Who else would you call for such a request? After setting it all up, the gentleman on the phone stuttered through asking me if I was ok with the fact that it was "kind of a fetishy thing." Not a problem for me, or for Freya. (They didn't want Vlad, said he was too big.) "We can handle it," I told him. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it turned out that there was no nud... read more

Only as far as Bakersfield, but it's a step in the right direction, anyway. Finally working again, operating an asphalt roller on a paving crew. But the company I'm working for, Tiechert Construction, is from farther north, so maybe I can get on steady with them and do some work in the Central Vally. That would be really nice. I hope to see some of you guys soon. I still don't know about taking enough time off to take the horses to a faire, what with just starting a new job and all.... read more

My Testimonials

August 6, 2008
Lester is an absolute treasure of a man, and of a rare and special type: the true renaissance gentleman.
He is by far the kindest, gentlest, and most loving man I have ever been honoured to know, and my world is a vastly better place for having him in it. He is intelligent, witty, passionate, and delightfully playful, and he looks absolutely amazing in a kilt--a blue ribbon winner in all senses of the phrase.

If ever trouble darkens your door, he always seems to know just what to say or do to bring comfort, and his hugs have been known to reduce women to happy molten puddles of joy.
His rocking horses are amazing works of art, and he is a masterful pushmonkey, always bringing delight to the patrons of his booth. For that matter, he brings delight and pleasure where'er he goes, as well as being one of the best friends you could ever hope to have.

I absolutely love this man!

The keeper and creator of wonderous creations. Incredible imagination and the desire to act upon it, following his dreams to new places. His goal in life to put smiles on many faces. I met him at Golden Gate Rennaissance Faire and he has changed my life. For that and many other reasons, I love this man with a heart of gold. Fearless in his zeal for life, amazing what this man has done thus far on his journey in this world.
