Temp inside at noon: 206 -- after I added a few more reflective panels, it pegged out my cheese thermometer which goes to 225.

Taking it out for its first spin! Italian bread in a dutch oven.

It needs a few refinements, which I researched on the ole 'internets' but it works!!

Yay! Home baked bread without turning on the AC or cooking my house! :)

Deeper is better. Six inches of soil may be plenty in humid Midwest or Eastern states but in my garden the beds that only have six inches are the beds with the smallest plants. Thankfully, I can compost and add more soil in the fall to make them deeper; I got wood that was 8 and 10 inches thinking I might need more soil.

Mulch/compost is good...however be careful where you get it. I got some stuff at the dollar store (I needed more and I was short on cash) but it had snails in it which ... read more
