Hello friendlies I have some music. Have a listen: Aerosis - Lunar Effect (New Moon mix) 143BPM http://www.beatbiz.net/player.php?tid=2662 This is an alternate mix of the track we did for Suntrip Record's compilation - V/A - Sundrops - Light in Motion. It is more on the dreamy and trancey side, more inner energy... where as the version released on the compilation is more uplifting. The mix of this version is not different enough to end up on another release, but nor is it a bad peice of music for it to go to waste. I figured we'd put it up the alternate version for you guys to have, some might prefer it better. Its been laying around for too long and we're probably not going to go back to work on it more...so a promo piece is what it'll become. Sooo much work to get done by september... Here I am again representing Suntrip and my fellow fractal trancers and I guess the energy I believe in/thrive on/what have you and what not? Fractal Gliding is a 2 hour monster of relentless light and psychedelic energy, going from 136-152BPM, this mix really represents the edge Melodic Goa / newschool is about. The response to this mix was even better than I thought on DI.fm and isratrance, its a little late but I've got it here on tribe too now. Its got a track by me at 105:35 too, for those of you curious about the sound I brew up. It was kind of intense though so...dunno what'll become of that track :p sure fits the mix well though! Tommorro I leave for a detour to philadelphia, followed by a trip to Bulgaria to some mountains and long lost places I grew up in, with a side-adventure somewhere along the Greek cliffs and coasts. I'll be back in a few weeks, something like july 22nd, and I'm bringing back sunflower seeds. I'm going to miss you all that I've met in the past weeks and months and year, while I seek to throw myself into the unfamiliar as an anecdote to flip the reset switch and coordinate my direction for the next year of normalcy...and maybe find a few cherry trees to nibble. Be back soon!

As the greater scene and what you believed to be goa, like Infected Mushroom, Yahel and many of those others are now going in more commercial clubby /euro trance directions, and indeed, have stopped doing everything that was psychedelic about their music, people have been responding to this by banding towards what originally got them into the music, for alot of people its goa, and for a lot of people they are upset as to why this music stopped happening. Or did it? For alot of people it has never really left, and the spirit is always present, albeit its been masked by darkness or covered in commercial cheese. But in response for to this, actually for some time now there has been a movement to bring back the light. This is the movement I want to show, as its occurred to me that I should not wait for someone else to do it, as I really think no one else will do it - really, that no one else knows or is involved with this music. Goa trance is back in many ways and is the dominant scene in Belgium, France, Portugal, and small pockets of underground scenes across the world, never having left. I really would like to bring that over here too. Thats why I'll be curious to your responses to this mix and the ones coming. If this music strikes a chord with you I'd love to hear about it, let me know. Each mix will aim to show a different vibe and homogenous story, I really want to emphasize the many stories the goa melody allows, from earthier downtempo to tripadelic night stuff. Perhaps I should've started with lighter stuff, or perhaps you like it that I got to the point, but Leaf and Sky shows an energetic and exotic kind of daytime sound, lots of sunshine and lots of stomping - this edge really is most unique to the goa tracks being put out today in comparison to the darker stuff from 10 years ago.
