if i'm tickling you, the easiest way to get me to stop is to yell "non-consensual!" really. this works just about every time.

i am pretty much in love with my life (and on a whole, about 95% of the people that are in it on a regular basis. this does not cheapen the intensity of my love for you, by the way. it just sets my heart to burstin' fairly consistently). i consider myself blessed, and i sincerely hope you feel the same way.

sometimes, to make myself feel better about being such a giant nerd, i pretend i don't like sci-fi and that i think it's lame. i pretend that my loving ray bradbury, issac asimov, ursula leguin, and douglas adams has nothing to do with actual sci-fi. when you hear me doing this, please humor me. it's an especially vulnerable moment.

i cook. i write. i climb on things. i make bad puns. occasionally i have moments of insight, but it's all really just play. ...except for the fact that i sincerely want to make an impact. or maybe particularly because that's what i really want. hrm.

i want to live in a world where more people make art--no excuses. ask me about mini-sagas. i dare you.

i'm good at making fun of myself. everything else just falls in line from there.
