i love my friends, but living with my parents sucks. i'd rather be taking summer courses or working at the university which is what i'll be doing next summer probably. it looks like i'll be coming back around mid August, so i apologize for not being able to attend any summer parties. i miss you guys!!

and also, i highly recommend seeing the movie WALL-E. even though it's a disney movie, it was one of the cutest and funniest movies i've seen in a long time. if you have doubts, just watch the trailer on youtube or something.

watching a lot of comedies and romantic films can get depressing after a while because they build unrealistic expectations. on the other hand, in dramatic films, the characters have issues, and in crime or horror flicks, getting a happy ending merely means surviving. after watching like 30 romantic comedies it starts to feel like real life is lacking something. at least when you're watching jason hack up some retarded teenager you can be like "glad that's not me!" instead of "where's MY happy ending?!"

my life would be so much more glamorous if i were living in a hollywood movie. instead of stumbling over words that don't adequately portray what i mean, i'd be constantly delivering intricately written lines. all of the time that takes place between scenes would just fly by until something interesting happens. everyone would look virtually flawless and wear flamboyant over-the-top outfits all the time, unless they would happen to be antagonists, in which case they would wear tattered colorless garbage. appropriate moments would transpire in slow motion or whatever cinematic effect needed, and there'd be no unflattering lighting, ever. also, there'd be a full symphonic orchestra following me everywhere i go to orchestrate my life's soundtrack when needed!! every dull grey moment would be spectacularly transformed into a ridiculously over-dramatic scenario with brilliant direction and dazzling visuals. .....IT COULD HAPPEN, DAMMIT.
