I am the single mother of two special needs boys. Damien, age 5 has FSGS and nephrotic syndrome. Donovan, age 4 has mild autism/asperger's syndrome. I am a multimedia designer and freelance writer who love polymer clay and just about any kind of paper art or beading. The boys and I are constantly creating art, and our lives. Each day has it's struggles and beauty. I write two columns at backwash.com under the psuedonyms Slightly Bent Mommy and Hestia (Spirit of the Home).
