It's to techno what punk was to rock and roll in the 1970s. I call it Dirty French Disco because it doesn't really have a name. Fuzzy synths replace distorted guitars. Rumbling hip-hop bass lines bounce along rock inspired beats. Melodies sing between glitched out vocals. Electrified dance music blends rock, hip-hop, disco, and new production techniques that disrupts audiences expectations and keep the dance floors heaving with energy. It's a movement that returns control to the audience; they represent the passion and desire to regenerate a culture grown stagnant with apathy.
