about me
Christ...where do I begin? Blessed blessed blessed...this is a continual experience in my life, for which I am deeply grateful! I change a lot, and quickly...which lends itself to a lot of intensity in my life. And in light of this, I am very grateful to the people in my life who live with the intensity that comes with being close to me. I've been changing a lot for years, but this last year marks the most significant internal changes thus far in my life. Having finally reached the other side of my saturn return (it lasted 10 months!), the whirlwind that has been my life is finally settling down. I live very simply, I have a beautiful little apartment close to the beach. I live like a monk...no tv...no furniture, just cushions, zen-style (I do have a futon tho), I mostly read, meditate or excercise at home when not sleeping. I don't have a real kitchen (technically, it's a kitchenette!), which is fine...I don't cook much...mainly quinoa and rice...I eat mostly raw so I don't need much space. Lot's of plants in my space, and I have a GREAT landlady. She's a 70 year old Chilean woman who treats me like her own grandson. She leaves bowls of apples next to my door (from her garden!), and frequently brings me a plate of food when she has left-overs from having her friends or family over for meals.
I've recently began Medical Chi Gung training, and by the grace of god, I'm learning Ba Gua from 2 local Masters...it's like a dream come true. I currently work as the Office Administrator for an upscale Inn in Pacific Grove. The general manager is a Doctor of Medical Chi Gung, a long-standing practitioner of Tibetan Shambala Buddhism, and has become a dear friend and mentor. So I find my self surrounded by people with an affinity for the esoteric...not new-agey guru types, but honest-to-god fucking Taoist masters. I go to work, and my entire day is literally a process of meditation and emotional/psychological transformation. My manager also has a degree in Contemplative Psychology and Jungian Analysis, so I get free therapy and insight into the dysfunctions of my psyche. I go home, I meditate, read, practice...and frequently find facets of my psyche on the edge of mutiny, demanding some sense of normality! Living so close to where I work has led to quite an insular existence, and not having car...well, I have little else to do now except eat, sleep, work, practice. On one hand, I love it...yet I'm finding it hard to have common ground with most people I meet. Jezus...it's hard enough to find a girlfriend in this little town I live in...being a 29 year old Jedi Ninja Dragon Warrior Leprechaun Breathmaster makes finding a woman of like mind to spend time with virtually impossible! The singles ads I place never seem to work: Hi, My name is Ciardha. I'm a 29 year old half leprechaun breathmaster from the Sirius star system. I'm an Aries. I love to practice with my breathing, meditating in the woods, rollerblading, and long walks on the beach. I spend most of my time working, and I spend my free time cultivating my internal energy and practicing an insanely powerful and complex internal martial art....seeking like minded woman for great conversations, romantic dinners, moonlit walks and hours of tantric love-making...HA HA HA!!!! If my mother only knew...
On a more surface level, I have a great sense of humor, I'm very polite, very loving and kind, and I've become quite laid back and relaxed (more so than usual!) lately. What more can I say?...I love my life!

My Blog

Last night, one of my dearest friends in the world died. Mahzza...my soul-brother numba one...died while in a coma brought on by haunta virus. Rare...yeah, really rare. Fuck...what can I possibly say???...Mahzza inspired me to be more than I am, to truly live up to and vibrantly access my highest potential. He was a pivital influence in the development of the Applied System of Breath Mechanics, and so often showed me a better way to be through his own example. What a radiant being...wha... read more

The intermediate achievement of Serumynjitsu cultivation is the harmonic attunement to the Six Focal Facets of Loving-kindness, gratitude, acceptance, compassion, humility, and joy. These are the strongest fields in human consciousness (reference "attractor fields", David Hawkins), the alignment to which generates tremendous harmonic power within the heart/mind/body.
In the initial stages of cultivation, the Six Focal Facets are used in conjunction with super-oxygenation pracitice ( a... read more

As we develop through Serumynjitsu practice, we find that the concept of "cultivation" gives us an easy framework from which to understand and apply technique. As repetition is the mother of skill, it is also the engine behind development. As we repetitiously practice techniques with focused awareness, our physical, emotional, and mental "bodies" remember or "take shape" incrementally, retaining the pattern of the technique a bit deeper and a bit longer with reach rehearsal. And give... read more

After hours of practice, I sat completely still under the full moon radiant and silently dedicated my life to the mastery of Serumynjitsu...Ciardha is HERE.

Serumyjitsu is a Taoist art of cultivating Vitality, Energy, and Presence. It's origins are widely unknown and it's teaching have been held not secret, but silent, until recent times. It is a gift to those who have commited their lives to service, allowing them to exercise their highest potential for the benefit of all beings. ... read more
