about me
I'm pretty off the chart in general...I write, I play, I'm too serious, I want to live forever, I'm into self-healing, singing, drumming, bodywork, astrology, I could go on.

My Blog

We may be in a different era than the early 70s one when Pete Townshend wrote those words in the quintessential Who song "Won't Get Fooled Again", but I am really from Missouri on this whole Great New Hope of Change that Obama is supposedly bringing through. Some of my friends are really hopeful about this, but it's still The System, and Obama is the face of The System. His mandate is to uphold its capitalistic status quo. He is not charged with tearing down the system and starting anew, whic... read more

- to learn to really hear the cry for love or help underneath the painful words
- to learn true, organic compassion
- to feel my heart at all times
- to ask myself the question more often, "what would love do?"
- to heal the rifts in my own heart
- to find the balance point in every situation, to ask loving guidance where it is if I can't find it

I, powerless,
Without an action to take
Lean on my longing
Like a... read more

Our writers' group assignment this month was to write about our first job. When I realized my first job started thirty years ago this month, I began to write "it was thirty years ago today", and the following popped out. If you can believe it, we were called Acme Cleaning Co., and no, I didn't get to rub elbows (or floors) with Wile E. Coyote ;) Enjoy...

It was thirty years ago today
I was told to take up work, stop play
Summer used to have a lazy style
Got a job that didn’t raise a s... read more

On my mountain hike I was called off the path by an intense looking mother arbutus overlooking the cliff that swept low enough to the ground for me to climb upon her after receiving permission and so I sat on her and rocked and keened and sounded and became the god and moved out nearly over the cliff edge on her limbs and spoke in tongues and received a healing in my red and orange chakras on this tree’s very obvious clitoris which I planted on the soft spot between my anus and my perineum wh... read more
